My Story

I started working as a technical translator in 2017, just over a year after completing my bachelor's degree in Defense and International Strategic Management at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. I've never worked in the field. I've always enjoyed writing and thinking about the possibilities - and impossibilities - of communication.

 

I finished university and went straight to studying screenwriting. I took several courses, including a one-year academic program at the Faculty of Film and TV at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Czech Republic (FAMU International).

 

Literary translation then became an inevitable path. I fell in love with the possibilities of language to the point of returning to university. I'm currently finishing my MA in English Portuguese at UFRJ. I intend to continue with literary studies alongside translation. 

 

Besides being a translator, I'm also a proofreader and I'm very happy to contribute positively to Brazilian literary production by actively participating in the editorial process of a book. I'm extremely dedicated to my work and I'm here to guarantee the best delivery possible.
